Today TCT Mobile has launched its first ever touch screen side slider mobile phone - featuring multiple widgets for under €100 on Pay As You Go. The One Touch XTRA is an elegant handset available in shades of black and grey, with a striking gloss finish. With a touch screen and QWERTY keyboard, it is simple to use and will soon become the must-have accessory for those who want to join the mobile social networking revolution.
This latest addition to the ALCATEL brand includes single-click access to mailboxes, social networking sites including Facebook and Twitter, and instant messaging so that users can stay connected at all times.
Alcatel One Touch XTRA
The One Touch XTRA combines a metallic chrome finish on the front with a soft touch effect on the rest of the phone, which is pleasing to the touch as it is to the eye. This phone is reassuringly robust yet compact, making it suitable for carrying in a bag or a jacket pocket.
A simple slide of the finger is enough to unlock the phone. A menu bar featuring fixed icons appears at the bottom of the touch-activated screen. These shortcuts connect you to phone, messages, contacts and a general menu for direct access to the phone's essential functions.
