BLU announced today the latest smartphone device in their popular VIVO Series utilizing world class Super AMOLED displays. The BLU VIVO 4.8 HD utilizes a stunning slim unibody design of just 6.9mm becoming the thinnest device in the market to utilize a 4.8 inch or larger AMOLED display.

Powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-Core Processor with 4G 42Mbps HSPA+ modem, the BLU VIVO 4.8 HD is designed to enhance the lifestyle of mobile phone users with fast performance for multi-tasking and graphic intense gaming, coupled with intelligent power control system for enhanced battery life, in addition to 16GB memory storage capacity and 1GB of RAM.
Photos and Videos come to life on the BLU VIVO 4.8 HD display thanks to an advanced 8MP autofocus camera with second generation back-side illumination and Full HD 1080p Video Recording, coupled with a front facing 5 megapixel camera.
The VIVO 4.8 HD is available in Matte Black, Ceramic White, Electric Neon Yellow, and Glimmer Pink. Already in production and shipping to several distributors, dealers, and online retailers in the US and Latin America with a price of $249.00 unlocked with Android v4.2, while future software updates will be available through BLU's over-the-air Wireless Update Feature.
